These continuously rated capacitors incorporates a non-resettable safety device that disconnects the internal electrical connections in the event of excessive pressure build up caused by abnormal operation.
Care should be taken to ensure that there is at least 8 mm clearance between terminals and other live or earthed parts to permit safety device operation.
The cylindrical self-extinguishing plastic case constructed to UL 94 standards and M8 x 10 stud make these capacitors ideal for direct mounting onto small and medium size electric motors. Electrical connections by double 250 (0.25") terminals. Suitable for soldering or push-on receptacles, refer to Connectors section for appropriate push-on connectors.
These capacitors are available in the values listed, ALL rated at 500V 50Hz :
1.5uF, 2uF, 3uF, 4uF, 6uF, 8uF, 10uF, 12uF, 15uF, 18uF, 20uF, 25uF, 30uF.
