The HS1755 DC and Stepper Motor controller 'FeatherWing' can power 2 x bi-polar stepper motors or 4 x brushed DC motors (or 1 stepper and 2 DC motors). Using the Feather Stacker Headers or Feather Female Headers this unit can be stacked on top or below other Feather boards. This controller is similar to the original Adafruit Motor shield Kit with extra features included. Instead of using a latch and the Arduino's PWM pins, a fully-dedicated PWM driver chip has been added onboard. This chip handles all the motor and speed controls over I2C. Since the FeatherWing only uses the I2C (SDA & SCL pins), it works with any and all Feathers- ATmega32u4, ATSAM M0 or ESP8266-based. The FeatherWing can be stacked with itself or and other FeatherWing board. In this case care must be taken to assign each wing with a unique I2C address.
