Product Description:
This unit can be used to test PC power supplies in the ATX, BTX and ITX series. The status of the different voltages is shown on the LCD display.
Method of Operation
- Connect the power supply to be checked to the tester via the 24-pin connector and P4, P6 or P8 to the corresponding connection on the tester.
- Power up the power supply. An audio signal will be heard. If the display reading is steady (no flickering) then the power supply output voltages are normal.
- If one of the voltages is not detected or is not within the normal voltage range, then a 'long audio signal' will be heard. The reading of the faulty output will also flicker.
